Ms. Ioanna Lada was born in Athens, Greece, in 1985.
With a rich academic background and years of professional experience, Ms. Lada provides high-level education in the field of telecommunications.

Education

Ms. Lada received a Diploma in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA) in 2009. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from the same university, completed in 2011. Her thesis, titled “Overview of Radio Over Fiber (ROF) Technologies,” was published in the Annual Journal of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications (Athens, 2012).

Work Experience

Since September 2023, Ms. Lada has been working at SCHOOL OF TELECOMS as an instructor and Learning and Development Manager. In this role, she teaches educational programs in the field of fiber optics and develops educational materials and laboratory exercises to enhance the learning experience of the school’s trainees.

From September 2012 to June 2024, Ms. Lada worked at Combotech OE in Athens. In her role, she provided technical support for telephone services, satellite services, and fiber optics. Her responsibilities also included troubleshooting and customer support, ensuring high-quality services for clients.

Ms. Lada has also worked in customer service at the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE S.A.) in Athens. From July 2011 to March 2012, she was part of the ADSL Department, where she provided customer service and worked as a sales consultant for internet products. Additionally, she held a similar role at OTE from February 2005 to September 2005.

Certifications

Ms. Lada holds numerous certifications. In 2022, she obtained the Certification of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also a FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) and a FOA Certified Fiber Optic Instructor (CFOT I-P), both achieved in 2024.

Personal Skills

Ms. Lada is fluent in Greek, her mother tongue, and is proficient in English (C2) and has good knowledge of the German language (B1). Her digital skills are extensive, including programming languages. She is knowledgeable in networking, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and wireless networking, and is experienced with various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Unix, and MacOS. Ms. Lada is also proficient with simulation programs such as RSOFT, LabView, Cadence, Optisystem, Prolith, and ADS, as well as applications like MS-Office.
