Organization and Management
SCHOOL OF TELECOMS organized, managed και implement its programs with the following structure:

Management
The Manager and the Legal Representative of the Company is responsible to ensure the right organization and function of it, to supervise through administration and scientifically, SCHOOL OF TELECOMS work, its executives (trainers, management stuff), decides and carries out the needed collaborations with scientific organizations, professional unions and other legal or physical entities at Greece and abroad, contributing to the implementation of the Company’s strategic target.

Office of Training
Office of Training works as executive management and represents the Administrator wherever it’s needed, internally and externally of the Company. Supervises the Company’s primary communication and the implementation of the programs and seminars. Concerns for the invoicing and keeps the necessary archives and documents according the law of the personal data protection.
Instructors
The Instructors, implement the training through programs and seminar, aligned by the principals and rules of SCHOOL OF TELECOMS and the managements educational goals. They are responsible and they coordinate the trainings.

Educational Programs.

SCHOOL OF TELECOM provides full programs of getting specialized knowledge kai skills at the fiber optics area through special education labs for expert professionals.

Educational Programs:

Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT): Certified educational program that teaches the basics of the fiber optic technology by the standards of the Global Fiber Optic Organization F.O.A. – Fiber Optic Association (24 hours). Is also addressed exclusively and not restrictively, to professional electricians, telecommunications engineers, IT Operation and to ΙΤ Councils etc.
Certified Premises Cabling Technician (CPCT): Certified educational program that teaches the way of design and implementation of copper, fiber optic but also and wireless communication installation approved by the Global Fiber Optic Organization F.O.A. – Fiber Optic Association (24 hours). Is also addressed exclusively and not restrictively, to professional electricians, telecommunications engineers, IT Operation and to Local Area Network (LAN) Administrators.
CFOS/H Certified Fiber Optic Specialist FTTx, Fiber To The Home/Premises/Curb/Node: Certified educational program for special application that it covers FTTx networks, design and cable installation and it includes PON networks, approved by the Global Fiber Optic Organization F.O.A. – Fiber Optic Association (24 hours). Is addressed to whoever is interested for FTTH network applications.

Rules, terms of participation at programs and seminars
Registration agreement
Trainees, through their registration at the programs and seminars, sign the corresponding agreement, in which the individual educational and economical terms of participation, are described.

Choice of participants
At the programs and seminars, participants are adults that have the typical qualifications, after an evaluation of their educational needs. SCHOOL OF TELECOMS maintain the right to decline the registration of a prospective person after the evaluation of his qualification and his educational needs, without any responsibility or obligation.

Curriculum, terms of participation and trainees choice.
Curriculum, timetable and the trainers of every program and seminar are selected in an annual base. SCHOOL OF TELECOMS maintain the right to evaluate the evolution of the tutorial procedure of every program and seminar according with the standards of the non-typical adult education and the standards of the FOA certification programs and to change part of the curriculum and of the individual lessons, provided that it is considered necessary to achieve its educational goals without a moral or economical obligation to the trainees.

Training methodology
Programs and seminars include lectures, brainstorming, open dialogs, slide show, video projection, individual and group reflection exercises, study group demonstration techniques, and classroom practice. Learners are called upon to support one another without judging and commenting on others’ performance

Active Participation & Effectiveness.

Training aims to acquire practical skills, a goal that is one of the most demanding in adult education as it requires time and, of course, the active involvement of trainees. The effectiveness of education is related to the degree of active involvement of adults in the learning process and their individual initiative to respond to the context.

Ethics
The trainees must respect all members of the training group, comply with the instructor’s instructions, accept and manage with respect and discretion the way each adult learns, the different personalities, gender, sexual orientation, religious and cultural issues perceptions. Behaviors and attitudes that provoke, offend or express racist views are not accepted.The Directorate of SCHOOL OF TELECOMS reserves the right, in the event that it considers itself to have violated ethical and ethical rules, to unilaterally terminate cooperation with any participant without returning any paid fees and without any other moral or financial obligation.

Time of arrival – absences
For each training program and seminar, the dates, times and breaks are announced. Absence counts for more than 30 minutes from start time.

Using cell phones in the classroom

During the teaching hours, cell phones may not be used except during breaks. Phone devices remain muted, stored, so as not to interfere with the learning process.

Food and drinks inside the classroom

Food and drink may not be used during classes. Trainees can, however, be served water and coffee as they are provided during class time.

Requirements for completion

For the successful completion of the programs and seminars, the SCHOOL OF TELECOMS sets specific requirements, which may include: active participation of the trainee, practical performance evaluation, written tests, written assignments, final examination, in accordance with international standards of F.O.A. Requirements are included in the registration agreement.
Unsuccessful study
If the trainee does not meet the prerequisites set for each program or fails to adequately comply with the trainer’s substantiated opinion, he or she may not complete the program and receive the corresponding certificate. The certification body enables the trainee to repeat the exams but not less than one month after the unsuccessful training. However, a review cannot be repeated more than once.

In case of unsuccessful completion, the fees paid are not refundable. In the event of inappropriate and provocative behavior at the discretion of the SCHOOL OF TELECOMS management, attendance shall be declared unilaterally unsuccessful without any financial obligation to the trainee. Special care is provided in cases of loss of loved ones, loss of work or pregnancy in consultation with management.

Cancellation policy
In case of unexpected interruption of the educational programs or seminars under the fault of the SCHOOL OF TELECOMS, the participants will be reimbursed the money paid. In case of discontinuance by decision or fault of the trainee, the amounts paid shall not be refunded. The enrollment of trainees is only confirmed by the payment of the tuition fees in accordance with the financial policy of the SCHOOL OF TELECOMS, as announced for each program and seminar separately.

In case of cancellation 30 days before the start of the program or seminar, 100% of the paid amount is refunded, 15 days before the start of the seminar 50% of the paid amount is refunded. Cancellations after the 15 days prior to the start date are refunded only by replacing the post by another trainee with the cancellation of the participant.

Complaint procedure

Each trainee may express any complaints or difficulties regarding the training process. Initially, the Trainer is informed without interrupting the teaching and, if deemed necessary by the Trainer, the matter is referred to the Directorate for resolution and settlement.

Ensure the protection of personal data and Rights of the subjects

SCHOOL OF TELECOMS, as responsible for the processing of personal data, ensures its compliance with applicable Greek and European law on personal data protection and declares that it has the appropriate organizational and technical measures for data security and protection against accidental or unlawful data. disaster, accidental loss, tampering, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of impropriety.
Subjects have the right at any time to request information about the data held by the Company and to relate to them, as well as to request their updating, deletion or portability, inter alia, as deletion may lead to inability to provide services. In addition, subjects are entitled to withdraw consent and all rights are exercised free of charge by contacting info@sot.gr under the heading “Privacy” and replied within 30 days.

Time and Mode of Conservation

The above information is kept in the Center in electronic and physical file for as long as it is necessary for the performance of its contractual obligations towards its subjects and for the smooth development of the contractual relations, as well as for as long as it is necessary for the Company to comply with legal obligations. , such as taxation.

Procedure for Evaluating Non-Formal Adult Education Programs.

At the end of each training program, trainees complete evaluation forms. These evaluations are made with the aim of improving interventions.

Neither the Company nor any person acting on its behalf bears any responsibility for the potential use of the knowledge acquired in the context of adult vocational training and retraining programs provided by the Company. In any event, any claims made against the SCHOOL OF TELECOMS for damages of a material or moral nature that may be caused by the use, non-use or incorrect or inappropriate use of such knowledge and skills by graduates are expressly excluded. during or after their training and regardless of the completion of their training for any reason.

Accept terms
